Sutherland Open Trials Futsal Super League

Building on the success of last season with our under 14’s boys team being crowned Champions of the 2009 – 2010 FNSW Futsal Super League and various other teams making the semi finals the Sutherland Shire will again be represented in its 3rd season which commences in late September 2010 and concludes February 2011.

The region will have 9 representative teams from under 12’s girls to all age women and under 12’s boys to all age men. The region will also be represented by our juniors in under 9’s, 10’s and 11’s as well for the first time an intellectually disabled athletes (ID) team.

Trials will be conducted at Menai Indoor Sports Centre, 98 Allison Crescent, Menai upon the following dates and times:

Saturday 24th July 2010,
2pm – 3pm, 12 girls, 14 girls
3pm - 4pm, 16 girls, open women

Sunday 25th July 2010,
4pm – 5pm, 12 boys, 14 boys
5pm - 6pm, 16 boys, youth men

Saturday 31st July 2010,
2pm – 3pm, 12 girls, 14 girls
3pm - 4pm, 16 girls, open women

Sunday 1st August 2010,
4pm – 5pm, 12 boys, 14 boys
5pm - 6pm, 16 boys, youth men

Trials for the ID team and Open Mens will be announced at a later date.

A selection subcommittee is again appointed to oversee the selection process. There is no cost to trial; however registration fees will apply upon formal selection mid August 2010. Each person participating in the trials must complete an application form 15 minutes prior to your first trial.
